federal help!!!

I AM NOT VERY GOOD ON THE COMP. BUT ....WHERE ARE ALL THE PROGRAMS THAT WAS TO HELP THE LITTLE PEOPLE WHO GOT BURNED IN THE MORTGAGE FIASCO,I KEEP HEARING THAT THEY ARE ON THERE WAY,$600.00 DOESN'T TOUCH IT!!I' 53 YEARS OLD WAS SUCKED INTO SIGNING AN 9% NEG. A.R.M LOAN,NOW I HAVE NO PRINCIPAL LEFT AND MY PAYMENT IS GOING TO GO FROM $846.00 TO $2,200.00 IN A FEW MONTHS.I HAVE A PERFECT PAYMENT RECORD(means nothing) I AM DEBT FREE EXCEPT FOR 1CREDIT WITH A SMALL AMOUNT ON IT AND NO COMPANY WOULD HELP ME, BUT THE ONES WHO SAID THEY COULD WANTED $1,900.00 UP FRONT,DUH I DON'T HAVE IT!!OR MISS A PAYMENT OR TWO THEN THEY WILL HELP YOU,I AM TRYING TO NOT GET BEHIND,I'M TRYING TO DO SOMETHING --BEFORE IT HAPPENS!NOW THEY TELL ME I HAVE CANCER AND WILL BE STARTING MY CHEMO NEXT WEEK,I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO--DOES ANYONE KNOW SOMETHING OR SOMEONE I CAN CONTACT,I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY HOUSE,OR EVEN TRY TO MOVE WHILE I'M ON CHEMO...SINCERELY...AARON...47 ON OUR SIDE

Watching the video made me feel sick and very sorry for the media. Wow, they must feel proud to be able to do this to our heroes!! These are, in fact, the same individuals that you would call if you or your family were in danger! It seems that they do not have anything else to do but make a group of officers seem like very bad criminals. Way to go Santaya Rose!! You should feel proud of yourself. Did you get an extra treat for running this story?
The photo of the sergeant is being treated the same as if he were a suspect in a serious crime. It reminds me of the time Officer/Chaplain Hurth was being charged for murdering his lover's husband. The photo of Hurth was being shown the same way. What these officers did was poor judgement indeed. This is a personnel matter not something for the news! Do we notice these officers when they go out and protect us? I only pray that the officers do not think that your portrayal of them represents the majority of people in this community!!

Wow,

Running Horse Golf Course was originally meant to be the site of a PGA Tour event and a catalyst for economic development in southwest Fresno.

Fresno Mayor Alan Autry on Tuesday offered a Plan B for the project in southwest Fresno -- turn it into a business park.

I can't believe the turns this story is taking.

Anyone have some insight into this?

Fresno schools not living up.

As a parent of 2 kids that attend Fresno schools, I must say that I am tired of my kids appearing to be nothing more than dollar signs to the school.

If the kids are ill, they are encouraged to attend for morning role call, just long enough to count them present - so the school can collect Average Daily Attendance money.

The teachers are simply paperwork distributors, and not allowed to teach.

Don't get me wrong, there are some fine teachers here in Fresno, but because of the ridiculous state requirements that are thrown at our kids and teachers, the teachers are left with little time to do anything more than hand out papers/assignments, and move on to the next requirement.

Meanwhile the kids are not being taught in the race to meet the daily requirements.

What has happened to our schools, and educational system.

Money, it's all about money, not education.

I can understand now, why so many parents are pulling their kids out of school to teach their children at home.

Parents - Please join me in demanding that our schools, staff, etc, turn the focus to hands on learning, and stop shoving the text books onto our kids backs without the instruction and guidance they need.

Ways to get your school's attention:

1. Every day your kids misses of school, the school loses daily attendance money.

2. If the school is not meeting your child's educational needs - do not allow your child or children to take the school's ever so important State tests. These tests are the school's way of getting their own report card, based on how well the kids do. If your child is not participating (which is not required), the school misses valuable information that in turn benefits them - good scores, more state funding for the school. Fewer student participants, means less data, thus means potential less money for the school.
Join me in a Boycott of the state testing, and let's be heard.
